Sculpture Northwest began as the dream of a group of art lovers to promote and grow Northwest Washington State as a premier destination for admirers of public sculpture. The region is already the home of the highest caliber of outdoor sculpture, including collections at Western Washington University and Big Rock Garden Park in Bellingham, Ann Morris’ Sculpture Woods on Lummi Island, and sculptures in Anacortes, LaConner, Langley, and Friday Harbor.
Sculpture Northwest aims to support artists and communities to grow their public sculpture collections, and to position Northwest Washington as a premier tourist destination for admirers of public art across the region, the state, the nation, and the world.
Sculpture Northwest offers you a wealth of information on the public sculpture of Island, San Juan, Skagit, and Whatcom counties. We assist
communities, art commissions, galleries and sculpture gardens in sponsoring exhibits.
