Matzke Fine Art Gallery and Sculpture Park

An Indoor Outdoor Art Experience

Our Mission

To promote, encourage, and serve as an advocate for fine artists.

OUTDOOR

Standing in the middle of this park that doubles as a sculpture gallery, you are greeted with one artistic surprise after another. Sculptures are carefully arranged among the trees in a conspiracy to delight and surprise.

INDOOR

The indoor gallery (3000 sq/ft) offers a more traditional fine art experience with thoughtfully curated exhibits that change every 6 weeks.

The layout is roomy, uncluttered, and, like Camano Island, itself, unhurried. A welcoming destination for visitors.

Matzke Fine Art Gallery

Karla Matzke has spent years shaping the land and the plants to complement the sculptures that populate the ten-acre. The Park is a remarkable work of art itself. The graceful site embodies “a geometry of playfulness,” as trees, walls, lawns, and flowers come together to form a brilliant frame for outdoor sculptures. Her goal is to connect artists and collectors through special events, exhibits, art production, and art education programs.

Karla Matzke is also an artist. She received her MFA from the University of New York at Albany in 1983.
